The Automated Hashtag Content Gathering system in memoryKPR uses the Instagram Graph API to collect content. This system requires an Instagram Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page.
Account Requirements
- Instagram Business or Creator account
- Facebook Page linked to the Instagram account
- Facebook Account with access to the linked Facebook Page
Setup Process
- Navigate to the Social Content tab in your story settings.
- Click the “Continue with Facebook” button.
- Note: The Facebook connection button is only visible after a hashtag has been requested and approved by the memoryKPR team.
- In the Facebook login pop-up, click “Continue” to link your account.
- Select the Instagram Business account(s) and Facebook page(s) you want to use with memoryKPR.
- Grant all requested permissions to memoryKPR for full functionality.
- Once connected and the hashtag is enabled, you’ll start seeing new posts within the next hour.
Important Considerations
- If you change your Facebook Account password, you’ll need to reconnect your account to memoryKPR.
- Only post that are posted by non-private accounts that are posted within the past 24 hours are pulled in. Additionally posts that use copyrighted music are unable to imported. This is a restriction imposed by Instagram.
Troubleshooting
If you’re having trouble connecting your account or seeing content, ensure that:
- You’re using an Instagram Business or Creator account.
- Your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook Page.
- You’ve granted all necessary permissions to memoryKPR.
- Your approved hashtag is enabled in the system.
- Reconnected your Facebook account if you’ve recently changed your password.
